KK is not close to Eichels value, but the most valuable piece in the trade. Montreal has nothing that would catch the Sabres attention other than Suzuki or Caufield.

To me this is good but you know the fans of Buffalo are going to want more. I can see Buffalo also taking less not to send him to Montreal/the division. In no way shape or form should Montreal give up Suzuki or Caufield for eichel even if that gets the deal done.

Seeing as Philly had requested the medical records of Eichel to complete a trade and never received them and have reportedly opted out on Eichel. I would be wary of any deal before he has his surgery.
