I’d only maybe consider this if Guenther is still available, but I think Ottawa would still be better off just taking Lucius and a guy like Stankoven with the 2nd.

I was about to say it depends on who is there for the Sharks to pick, and if one of those guys are available I'd be reluctant to trade down. Maybe if Guenther was our only option at that pick I'd make the deal, but if it's Eklund or Clarke I'm taking one of them.

Depends on their ranking of their preferred players but I would take it if I'm confident I could still get my guy.

For example if Kent Johnson was there I'd probably just take him but if I'm after a goalie and both top goalies are still on the board then I take this deal.

yeah i dont get it. We need the players that might turn into Stamkos, Kucherov, Point. We dont need the Tyler Johnsons, Alex Killorn and Ondrej Palat. We still have a skills issue. We need 1 more top line player and one really good 2nd liner
