Lots of attention being paid to NYR, Minny, Anaheim, La as potential fits for Jack Eichel. Some rumblings Montreal could be in the mix for the star center.

Yes But the Seattle one now is 100% not happening and the eichel one can but the rangers are not willing to give up that much

Why is the SEA deal not happening? There seems to be mutual interest there

Reason 1 giordano was at the expansion draft they wouldn’t have done that if he was gonna be traded
Reason 2 Rick carpinello who reported that went back on the statement

Unlike many Sabre fans I think Strome could be a good asset in a trade for Eichel.
When I saw the Buchnevich trade yesterday, I was certain the Rangers were going to make deal for Jack.
Up until yesterday I would not have wanted to add Lundkvist to any deal, but with Ristolainen gone, he is now a good asset.
OK, let's take Kakko out of the deal and add Strome.
Strome, Lundkvist, Chytil, 2021 2nd and 2022 1st.
I would do that deal if I were KA.
It is less than the proposed trade, but it still makes sense for Buffalo.
