I mean it all depends on oel really. If he bounces back in a new setting it could be a win. An expensive win but a win.

I don't hate this for VAN -- they still need to try to move one of Myers or Schmidt though.

No no they did not, they failed to give themselves cap space today and into the future and burned the 9th overall pick

When Hughes Petterson need contracts boeser then horvat, they hurt their chances to keep their core together for oel

It's only a win if the Canucks win the cup next year.

I don't hate it but they lost the trade Arizona should be retaining more. This keeps happening year after year with Benning.

They win for 1 year and then are stuck with OEL's contract until he turns 36 at 7.26M per season. If OEL doesn't bounce back it could be the worst contract in the league behind Skinner.

After they sign garland....we have 12m coming off the books this year, let’s trade the 9th and 2nd Round pick to probably have 11m on the books for the next 6 years.

So let’s give up futures to prolong cap hell?
