Solid contract for the Bruins. Let's hope he can continue to play like he was after he was traded there and not before.

Good deal. Lets see if we get the proper Hall we when he first arrived in Boston and went on a good run. Or are we gonna get a Buffalo repeat now that hes got his contract

This is gonna end up being such an underpayment lmao, can't believe he had to settle for that, I don't think someone with his contract history would take a 2m+ paycut. For reference, that 8M range is what I expected him to land at.

fantastic signing for the B's not only is the cap hit very fair but they aren't locked into the contract long term. great start for the B's off-season.

Darren Ferris is a worm. Strung Toronto along all summer to get his awardless, hometown client the most money out of Toronto. Gives Boston a discount on a former Hart winner.

If Hall can continue producing like he did with the Bruins last year, this will be a fantastic deal.

Now Seguin needs to go to EDM and the 2010 drafts top-2 has come full circle.

Boston has done a better job with the cap than any other team in the NHL. not reallly a Hall fan, but they could afford it, and it shouldnt be an anchor in the last years.

Hall really left a lot of money on the table, but given that he seems to love it in Boston, he might not regret the decision that much. As for BOS, this could be one of the best contracts in the entire league if he keeps playing like he has been.

EDIT: Oh, and no NMC? This can't possibly get any better!

Did he sell BOS on his 27 games?
Does he return to playing poorly on that repaired knee.
82 game season is going to be the tell all of this deal.
But Hall probably realized, this is the best he was going to get after last year.
So he took that term and this is his "cashing out"
He's probably got to be disappointed. He thought he could just squeeze by and get some kind of 8-9 million long tern deal.
Instead he is right back at 6 million for what is probably his final 4 years in the NHL.

Bergeron + Marchand are both like 35 son.

Leafs locked in Spezza for a clean 750K.

Apples to apples.
