Nah, this just means that Boston has to eat 50% of his contract for Hall to join Crosby and Ovie in Toronto...the only city that matters (to eastern canadians).

Ovechkin says he’ll never play for an nhl team that isn’t the caps

Lol a lot if guys when invisible against the Islanders. Btw how many of his points came against Buffalo?

Fair enough. 6 points in 6GP. 2G 4A. For the record, I think Hall is a good fit in BOS. I hate the AAV, especially when I don't see any other teams that'd be willing to pay him $6M per season.

So he put up points vs the teams be should. The AAV isn't bad. If he stays at the pace he was playing, how many guys put up that production for under $6 million that aren't on an ELC?

He won't play at that pace. Aside from 2017-18, he's never played at that pace, lol. He's often injured. He's been very inconsistent. The AAV would be great if he stays healthy and doesn't decline. But that'll never happen. Hall's own history tells us it'll never happen.

Where do you get your info from? It was his 5th highest P/GP of his career:

'17-'18: 1.22
'18-'19: 1.12
'12-'13: 1.11
'13-'14: 1.07
'20-'21: 0.88
'11-'12: 0.87

Before coming to Boston he was a 0.90 P/GP player for his career. As for injuries, over the last 2 years among all LW he ranks 34th in games played and 15th in TOI.

His Points Per Game was 0.62 in 2020-21, which is a 51 point pace over an 82 game season. Not 0.88. You must only be counting his time with Boston. He hasn't exceeded 52 points in a season since he won the Hart in 2017-18. He's only exceeded 53 points 3 times in 11 NHL seasons. That's not good. Points per game doesn't mean a whole lot when you miss a lot of games. Hard to help the team win from the press box.

Considering my original point was based on his production in Boston, your 100% right a out the 0.88 PGP lol. I don't give a crap what he did in Buffalo where careers go to die. Again as I pointed out the last 2 seasons he's been healthy and his GP/TOI show it.
