Schmidt actually makes a lot of sense to Boston. They kinda need one more top 4 dman who can get a few points too. He isn't a cap dump either.

No need for name calling. And why wouldnt Boston be interested in nate schmidt? They need defenseman. Schmidt would fit In good with them. If canucks had to take a contract back instead of a draft pick that's fine.

I've also heard a few places canucks would be interested in jake debrusk..not sure if a straight schmidt for debrusk would work..canucks might still have to add a higher draft pick aswell.

We do not need him, we have McAvoy, Reilly, Carlo, and Grzelcyk as our top 4, and more coming up in the system, we don't need a mediocre defenseman whose gonna take up 6 million.

Like I told the last guy, we do not need defensemen, we have a good top 4 and more coming up in the system. Just because our bottom 3 costed us lots of goals in the playoffs doesn't mean we need more.
