He might be. Lucius is at least 2 years away from the nhl level right now in my opinion. Until then we will know where Vesalainen is at. If Copp signs in Winnipeg, he’s staying at least for now.

Even if he isn’t in the long term plan, we aren’t moving him for peanuts.

If we're going for a middle 6 winger why not go after Coleman? I like Copp a lot but we can probably get him for the sameish price give or take 1 million.

I’m sorry to say this so bluntly but zadorov is no where near the defensemen who have been traded today. Even ristolainen.

Copp is a top 6 forward on most teams. And the jets best defensive forward. Not moving him unless he wants out
