Carolina gave up about equivalent to the #72 pick in value here. Really must be banking on some guys falling into the 2nd.

This could be good depending on the picks for Carolina vs NSH

But not in love with this… L’Heureux woulda be great for Carolina

I'm fine not taking L'Heureux, but I was really looking forward to our first round pick.

With Aatu Raty still on the board, I would have wanted Carolina to take him, but I trust the guys that scout full-time for Carolina to get some great talents early in the 2nd. More picks fairly early in a more random draft than usual has to be a win.

Carolina hasn't even drafted yet big boi ....

Why don't you give em a chance to draft.

And then wait 3 to 5 more years.

Formulate a rational opinion.

And then keep to yourself.

Maximizing the quantity of picks in a draft as uncertain as this could be a winning move. We won't know for a while though.

On value it's a fair deal, two mid 2nds for a late 1st.

More picks might be better in this crapshoot of a draft year.

Trust me, Morrow and Koivunen are great picks. Morrow was hilarious at the prep school level.

This kind of trade is something I could see Toronto doing with the 25 OA pick this year

As I could see them going to Chicago and trading the 25 OA for the 38 OA and the 57 OA
