Team: 2021-22 New York Rangers
Team Explanation
This roster makes me feel better about Buch. You can argue paying to much or not enough in the trades but good roster. Tougher to play against and plenty of cap space left (rfa's). Also gives NYR 4 -2nd round picks next year that you can move for midseason help if needed.

You really should have let Kreider go at the TDL. I love him a lot, but his contract would anchor you down and Buch is a better player overall. It is hard to comment the Soucy trade really. But if you one month ago offered me Jones for Soucy, I would automatically assume I need to add at least a 3rd.

Now we chill in mediocrity. But at least dont have to worry about not being able to pay Mika and Fox. Trading Buch really wasn't surprising, but the return was just shockingly underwhelming for such a good player. With Gorton and Davidson, I felt so confident in their direction and leadership. Now, I feel like we are grasping at straws with a rookie GM playing into the same damn grit message we don't stop hearing about. Confidence is low today.

Kreider was impossible to see coming, it was before both the draft lottery and the cap flattening

I would not trade Filip Chytil now. Give him a top 6 role now that the opportunity is there.

Replace him with a midround pick/s and remove the 2nd from Seattle
