Description

Wanted to do an exercise of bringing in some veterans to fill out the bottom of the roster. Not saying that Bs would sign all of them but I would like to see some bigger vets brought in on D to bring some experience and size but not have to play huge minutes. Don’t want to see another playoff round with their 8th and 9th Dmen are taking D zone draws.

DeBrusk is all but gone as far as everyone can tell. Not 100% sure this package works for either side (Preds fans can let me know what they think). I don’t see Jake moving for anything other than LD which limits partners/returns etc.

Reimer and Foligno are solid vets who can fill roles without costing a ton. I’d probably bring in another vet on a PTO close to camp.

Didn’t bring any Ritchie or Kase back for this exercise as I think that NR is going to cost too much and Kase might never play again.

Cautiously optimistic that with Hall and (hopefully) Krecji back the roster just needs another top 4 LD and depth 🤞

Zboril and some picks then? The Flyers are getting universally roasted for what they gave up. Not knowing Nashville that well, I wasn’t sure if they would want picks/prospects or players who could slot into their lineup immediately so I went with the latter

If NSH trades Ekholm, I think they’re going for futures —picks and young prospects.

Looking at what Risto got, PHA underpaid massively for Ellis. I'd be furious about it, but seeing CHI make that ridiculous Jones trade and extension makes me feel better. It just seems fruitless to compare trades these days - the values are all over the map, much more so than usual.

But yeah, this isn't close. No interest from NSH in either Debrusk or Zboril.
