Nylander - RHD/Pick?

Created by: NateElder12
Team: 2017-18 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 17, 2017
Published: Feb. 17, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Not sure what the price for Nylander is right now. I know TOR probably isn't going to move him while they have him on his ELC, but the Flyers need more scorers and somebody that could take over the 2C spot and play top line winger if needed.

Trouba for Ghost swap?? Tried to throw in a winger that could increase Winnipeg's depth since they are pretty top heavy and plays really good defense. Plus Raffl is cheap and isn't a long term commitment. If picks are more appealing I'd add that.

Anaheim wants a scoring winger and figured that Vatanen is the guy to be left unprotected - Flyers take Stoner as cap dump for Anaheim along with pick swaps.

Palat may be the odd man out. Flyers send them cheap NHL ready defenseman, cheap C/LW prospect/bottom six player, and a few picks (could be 2nd's or 3rd's doesn't matter).

___________________________________

1. Bury AMac and Stoner in AHL
2. Sign depth center (Fisher) or cheap option and move Nylander to center.
3. Bring up the young defenders to play with the vets
4. Let Neuvirth walk, resign Mase, bring in Stolarz to backup.
5. Lines are not set in stone and I'm open to suggestions.

The price for a rookie putting up a 55+ point pace is going to be alot, especially as he has played the majority of the year on the shutdown line.

I'm guessing you don't realize Fisher is not leaving Nashville. He loves it there, no reason to go get paid somewhere else when your wife is Carrie Underwood and she makes 3 times the amount of money you do in a year.

That deal wouldnt even get you Willy's hairbrush... Not even close value to Nylander.

What would be a realistic trade for that hairbrush... asking for a friend.

That has to be one of the worst trade proposals I've seen in a while. Two spare parts and a 2nd rounder for nylander who is having a great rookie season, on pace for 50-60 points. Try provorov or ghost and we might be on to something.

As a Leafs fan Ghost is the start of a Package, but when it comes to Provorov Nylander is the start of a very large package because he is the best defenceman on the Flyers and in a year or two will be one of the Best in the League. And if there is one thing the Oilers have done in the last decade, other than pick first every time, is show the world the value of good defencemen, and Provorov is a Great defenceman.
