Based on what was given up for Ristolainen and Jones they should take that deal. Defenceman have way more value than forwards this year

You're good with a Sanheim-Ristolainen second pair?

I'm higher on Sanheim than most and sure he makes mistakes in his own end but who doesn't he had a bad year but I wouldn't be shocked on a bounce back he's a good player that has had to play in the number 2 dman role and can now actually be the 3 he is. Risto is what he is. In a way with how physical he is I think it could help Sanheim with allowing him to go into corners and let Sanheim then pick up the puck and send it up ice.

Edit: Even if you want to make the argument that Risto-Sanheim won't work it doesn't make sense to send a forward for another dman and who says a Rielly-Risto pair would work?
