we dont want him. especcially since we have been going for "locker room guys/locker room leaders" the past few years.

Simmonds can keep him in order.

nah he fits Bergevins style much better. His drafting and past work shows that pretty well.

last thing this team needs is an internal issue among players. That would end up poorly for everyone, and lose money for the leafs. Tony Deangelo's headed for the KHL like Leipsic, he's done here.

The guy has had issues since before his junior days, there is no "keeping him in order". He's a selfish prick.

How is picking him up a "Dubas style" move? He's never brought in guys with bad rap sheets and Toronto has made it a priority to have their players be key people to the community outside of the rink (something Dubas does himself). So it makes no sense to bring him in.

This "softer generation" of players couldn't handle him in the locker room.

If DeAngelo signs for bottom $, I think it'd be a good experiment, especially with how hard RHD are to find.

He'd be better for the powerplay than using Marner or Brodie on the RD.

Also he'd be good for the media and community.

Couldn’t think of a move that is less “Dubas style”

When u look at his recent signings (Brodie, spezza, Simmonds) they all seem like really solid guys
