Yeah trying to figure his trade value and trying not to include your best players is two different things.
Also as soon as you click paul byron you should know your not really trying to make a fair unless you dont like it when your done.

It wouldn't and shouldn't. Fair to say Suzuki and Caufield are untouchable.

Deal as is is pretty close IMO. Before the ridiculous Reinhart deal, I'd have said the Sabres would target Primeau. KK as a centerpiece that makes sense. 2 1sts and Poehling then would be the bare out of conference minimum so adding Guhle (even if the Sabres don't need LD) and smaller pieces to make the deal look bigger makes sense. Overall, a reasonable effort. Could see the Sabres wanting Lehkohen instead of Byron.

I just don’t see them being interested in Guhle.

I can see :
Kotkaniemi
Primeau
B+ or A- forward prospect

Yeah we should at least keep Guhle… Especially since they dont really need a lhd. KK (hurts to give him but necessary), Ylonen, Harris, 2xfirst

Q1. What's Jack Eichel's value if he plays 62+ games in 2021-2022?

Q2. What's Jack Eichel's value if he plays 41+ games in 2021-2022?

Q3. What's Jack Eichel's value if he plays 20+ games in 2021-2022?

Q4. What's Jack Eichel's value if he plays less than 20 games in 2021-2022?

The problem is that we don't know how many games he's capable of playing this season, so we don't really have any logical way of knowing what he's worth.

If I sum it up:

He's is injured without a clear recovery plan. Value goes way down.
