Description

I think this is a very realistic offseason.

- Dvorak is an upgrade from Debrusk and Ritchie on the left side and can takeover as 2C when Krejci retires which imo will be next year or most likely the year after.

- Suter is a great option alongside Mcavoy and signing him to a 3 year deal would bring him to 39 and cost less.

- Finally, traded for Holtby, while I don't exactly like it not many good UFA goalies would agree to signing a one year deal and Holtby is a goalie on the market who only has one year left, with the Canucks trying to get rid of him and clear cap space he will barely cost anything.

- P.S. I also didn't address the right side on forward because after drafting Lysell we do not need a long term option and right now I think Smith, Kase (if healthy), Stud, Kuhlman all have the potential to be solid middle six options. I would guess Cassidy will test all of them in training camp.

Dvorak is actually a downgrade from Debrusk, the fact that he can play C makes him attractive though. Severe overpayment.

Don’t need another goalie, just play the kids til Rask is ready. Holtby sucks anyway. They might end up buying him out.

Imma have to disagree with you chief , Dvorak is certainly better than Debrusk in most ways. I can sorta agree with you on it possibly being a slight overpayment , so yotes would have to add a 3rd or 4th. wouldn't be a terrible trade for either team but just don't see it happening.
