I was treating it as a contract termination with the recent SA allegations just chose the devils at random.
But honestly not very realistic as the termination would only happen if the allegations are proven true.

Schmidt is worse than Chiarot. Secondly we needed him because of the injury of Weber we need top 4 D. Scmidt is not a top 4 D right now and except adding a top prospect and a draft pick is less awfull, but either way it's not going to happened, we'Re not interested in Schmidt.

I've looked at your most recent team and without price, without weber, MTL are by NO MEANS a contender in that Atlantic div. They would have a lot of cap space and they would have no use in keeping an expiring contract in Chiarot. Schmidt has played a top 4 role is VGK and WSH and only has struggled paired with Edler. If Bergevin expects a 1st he's not getting anywhere this offseason.

If you want to get rid of Virtanen, it is more efficient to buy him out now than waiting for a charge then a conviction. His buyout would only cost $50k this year and $500k next year (according to the buyout calculator) and you could put the $2 million in total savings to work right away. If you wait, there might not be a resolution until his contract is over.

lmao, Price gets back pretty soon after the season starts. The kids get the experience and be better this upcomming season. The habs have a lot of cap space to replace and weber and Danault. Also, he was a top 4 with Vegas, he's not anymore and no fcking way the habs will trade for him, especially if you downgrade that much. We don't want Schmidt, so don't sent him to mtl.
