I think VAN should ride out the last year of his contract instead of giving up a second. They shouldn't be a team that is sacrificing their future at this point (I still don't understand the Garland/OEL trade)

Vancouver declines. If we can't get a better return for Holtby we just buyout his contract. No need to lose a draft pick or help Edmonton.

Agree on the draft pick, you shouldn't be paying that much to receive koskinen, because that's a junktract.

Vancouver does have some upcoming cap problems (contracts needed for Hughes, Garland, Petterson, Dickinson all with about 15M) probably a better trade IMO would be something like

Vancouver gets:
Stalock
Some picks of some sort

Edmonton gets:
Holtby
