We'd likely have to retain and move zuccarello to a better team to get him to waive

Sabres might make that deal (probably remove 1 piece going back to Min) but Zuccarello doesn't waive so it's moot anyway.

Zuccarello’s ntc is moot in a deal to buffalo. Minny can just waive him. Sabres have first priority.

Except it's a NMC, so no, they can't just waive him.

Zero reason to include Rask in the deal. Wild have a ton of cap space this year and his deal expires after it so it is absolutely not a problem. Also I'm not sure how to explain to Sabres fans there's zero chance you're getting both Boldy and Rossi in a trade with the Wild.. lol
