It doesnt matter as long as some of them can play LW. In fact, Garland was more efficient on the LW this year and so was Toffoli with MTL. Anderson also showed that he could play LW as well

That’s a little more reasonable, but the problem is, Garland has a $6 million QO next year, which the habs will not be able to afford. And I guess a 1st and a 3rd is a fine price for him as a rental, but we’d be better off allocating the cap to areas of need at C and RD.

Yeah it’s okay when you’re on offence. When you’re on defence though it screws you up because you’ll be turned around along the boards because your stick is on the other side. I thought in the playoffs there were several instances where Montreal struggled to come out of their own end as a result of having a winger playing on their off side in the d zone.

Thats true, but Toffoli was alright on LW in the d zone and Anderson is lost anyway in his own zone, so playing RW or LW shouldnt bother him as much.
