I wonder how Montreal fans feel. They still manage to keep Suzuki, Caufield and Romanov while getting a number 1 center to insulate Suzuki (doesn’t need to be insulated, but it couldn’t hurt).

The Sabres don’t need LD lol like at all. Dahlin, Power, Samuelsson, Johnson. I don’t think they’d want a RD either unless he has top pairing potential. So mostly forwards are their needs and of course adding a Primeau would be nice

I think they need serious high quality depth to fill out their forward core. Meaning young players with good potential on the wings. I’d also look to add 2 goalies this summer if Ullmark walks.

Habs would take that all day long. Basically replacing Danault with Eichle and Kotkaniemi with Evans. Losing Byron also makes a spot for Poehling to get into the line up. Dont think it would be enough but if it was Bergevin takes it.

I’d say the same thing if Ottawa was trading Sanderson + Batherson and a 1st for him. It’s always tough losing players you love

Or even if the liked a guy like Touch. Would mean adding an additional piece because he isn't an elite piece but would still be a useful piece MTL could throw in at no real expense

Im assuming he walks. Adams had a chance to sign him before the season ended, and either the money and term wasnt to his liking, or he just wants out. Either way if somebody offers him 5x5 hes gone. I think what would have to happen is- nobody is offering the 5x5 and he is fine with facing 40 shots a game for a couple years on a bad team, but at least a team he knows with a bunch of swedish kids on it.

MTL accepts the trade. However, would you mind us getting Primeau back but sending Ylönen+Tuch the other way

I like that deal, but if we can keep Primeau and swap it for Mysak or Ilonen and a 3rd is better.

Sad that Denisenko should have been included in the Reinhart trade. Poor guy has no where to play in Florida's lineup anyways. Again, unless Suzuki or Caufield are included for Eichel, there is no deal to be made.

I would do Mysak and Ylönen instead of Primeau.
