Parayko isn’t available, even at that price.

Not even close for Parayko, Glendening gets 1 x $2,000,000 at least Parise or Suter wont sign with any Canadian team.

The Glendening contract is reasonable. What did Glendening do to earn more than he ever did?

Okay fine, But there's no freaking way he signs that contract when Detroit will offer him more.

Why would he not be available? Elliotte Friedman and Bob Stauffer were talking about him before the draft

Then they have no idea what they’re saying. Parayko is the entire core of our defense. He’s not expendable to us as long as we intend to compete, and we wouldn’t have acquired Buchnevich if that wasn’t the goal.

Does Detroit plan to sign him?
I would like him as the 4C in EDM

And I'm just curious, what do you think is a fair trade for Parayko?
Because that trade here is just nuts, you can almost get Eichel for that package (I know STL still declines, because he's not avaiable).

Yup Detroit plan on resigning Glendening, For Parayko probably 7 years $56 million i'd imagine.

I get what you’re saying. Buchnevich was a very good pick up by Armstrong. But I gotta side with Elliotte on this one over you. He never said he was available or that Armstrong is shopping him, just that Parayko coming home would make sense hypothetically.

Parayko wont come cheap, Would imagine Armstrong would want one of Holloday/Yamamoto for starters and then add accordingly.

Oh, you meant the contract! I thought you meant the tradegrin
Parayko will probably get that contract when he's a UFA NEXT year.

People put way too much stock into players playing for their hometowns.

That's for sure.
But two 1st, a 2nd and Samorukov isn't cheap at all (even with Koskinen included).
