Where does Butcher fit? adding another undersized offensive LHD doesn't make much sense for VAN, unless they plan on flipping him to another team.

I still think they can trade Holtby with a little creativity. If you're giving a 2023 2nd rounder.. you may as well give a 2nd with Holtby to Seattle for Soucy . The Kraken have to dump LD. Soucy is on the market according to sources. Vanecek will have value on the market and the Kraken have showed interest in Holtby. The Nucks get their LD and dump 2 million in salary. Keep Schmidt on the right

I would hope they can, although I'm not holding my breath. Cheaper and better alternatives are available in Free Agency.
