Sure all 3 whom have a NMC, And aren't waiving them to leave Tampa. Stamkos, Hedman and Kucherov all say Hell No we wont go.

Avs can't afford to take on Kucherov's contract, even less so if they also move Toews and Newhook who are on great contracts ($4.1m for a top pair Dman and an ELC).

This post really demonstrates how much control Tampa Bay has over the NHL. They've got 3-4 NHL all-stars who would be MVPs on almost any other team, and they could keep those players, or trade them for boatloads of high-end picks and prospects. I've decided to call this incredible power the Yzerman-effect, it's got a beautiful ring to it.

I also don't think that the Avs would not give up that much for Kucherov. I'm a tampa fan, I know how good he is, but the Avs would not give up all that for a bunch of cap trouble and one very good player.
