Suter seeking term

Description
Blues are out on Suter as apparently he’s looking for a 4-year term. Likely won’t be good for whomever caves on that demand.

My hope now would be on Martinez or McCabe in FA.

No contender is giving Suter a 4 year deal, If he wants 4 years and wants to remain close to home. Then perhaps either Chicago or Detroit but that's about it.

I didn't think he would've have been a guy we should go after anyway, if I'm going after someone it would probably be Keith Yandle on a cheap deal or maybe even going after Montour or Martinez. I know Martinez might still be signed by Vegas but if not that would still be a strong possibility. I don't think Scandella has been the right fit. I honestly like the idea of running with Mikkola to be quite honest.

It's been reported that he wont play in Canada, So very doubtful and rumbling are that he wants to stay close to home as possible.

could be an option if his father calls who knows though it's all up in the air. I guarantee if Canadian teams are the only ones calling he would sign easliy.

The reported interest are the islanders, Bruins, Avalanche, Panthers and i believe a couple other no Canadian teams listed. But it's doubtful any of them would give him 4 year offers.

Calgary’s coach is Darryl Sutter…Ryan Suter is not related. Sutter family is Canadian. Suter is an American…plus Ryan Suter’s dad died…
