Sabres want top prospects that equal 4 first round picks. So you would need to toss in Caulfield or Suzuki. And turn one of those second into another first.

Also Buffalo would probably want more, due to same division. I don't see them moving him for anything less based on the current rumors on the trade market for him. Dude is considered a top 10 player, and they won't sell for less I guess.

Right now he's not worthing an Suzuki or Caufiels

But this trade is low and misses a key prospect, a roster player and a draft pick

Dude has an unresolved neck injury. Might not get traded anytime soon

Sabres have 5 years to figure that out. Montreal needs to figure out an offer before next July when his NTC kicks in.

A healthy Jack Eichel is a top ten player. Are very few players that drive possession like him. He's a franchise player in a terrible organization.

I completely agree. But from what has come out of Buffalo this weekend it appears that the Sabres aren't changing their askinging price. Most likely Eichel plays this year, and is traded before the next draft. The handling of his medical records by the team is very strange, and is definitely holding up a trade.

Then he's gonna stay in buffalo with tension, and Kev Adam don't know what will happen in the futur, i mean the price of eichel i don't think it would get higher than that, if Buffalo is are still in a hard decision concerning eichel intervention. All of this would be a big bet for Kev.

From what Adam's said at his press conference yesterday he doesn't seem to have a problem with him coming back this season. Definitely will be tension, however if he fumbles this trade he will be looking for a new job. If Jack was healthy this trade would have been done before the draft, and teams would have over paid. All it is now is a game of chicken between the Sabres and these teams.
