Why have Rangers fans soured on CK? I didn't watch much of his game this year..

That would be one of the worst trades in bruins history. That contract is scary. Any kreider deal starts with retention and isn’t getting any value.

Cap space is precious in the NHL.

You already have Panarin and Lafreniere taking up the Top 2 LW spots.

You got Fox looking for a big raise.

Zibenejad or Eichel will be making big money as 1C.

Trouba still taking up $8M.

Lafreniere and K'Andre possibly getting long extentions, along with Bridge deals to the likes of Kakko and Chytil.

To shed Kreider's Contract early before that all takes place, is perfectly fine in my book.
