Batman thank you so much for publishing this team for us to comment... I appreciate the effort it takes to put together a realistic scenario.

I have to say as a lifelong Sabres fan since inception and season ticket holder I would be thrilled to cheer on the team you put together.

1. I really like the Minnesota deal.... I think that is a realistic return for Jack.... I know Sabres Fan wants more and Minnesota Fan says that is way too much... I can see Adams retaining 10%-20% on Eichel to get the deal over the line.... he may also need to throw a mid level prospect or a mid round draft choice in the deal..... drop the Sharks 5th Round pick as well to get er done;

2. I am not sure that Adams would do the Arizona deal unless he is able to not deal that Florida 1st Round pick in 2022. My guess is Adams will be hoarding the 2022 1st & 2nd Round picks like a squirrel gathers nuts for the winter..... I like the return in Dvorak & Kuemper but I would like to see a different makeup from the Buffalo end...... Do you think a Olofsson, Pekar, 2023 Philadelphia 2nd Round Pick if the Sabres also took on a cap dump be enough?

3. I liked your signings.... Vatanen I have always liked his game.... I think Dahlin will get 6.0 Million per year on this bridge deal..... I also think Joki will be above 3.0 million per year.... I hope they can get Linus to comeback to Buffalo with that offer;

4. I can see Adams retaining on Eichel somewhere in between 10%-20%.

Nah no adding boldy. I honestly don’t think Minnesota is a good suitor for eichel without huge retention the way their next 4 years are setup, just bad partners all around for it.

Arizona has an easy No. Dvorak and Kuemper are current NHL starters. The Coyotes won't see any benefit from that trade until 2025 or 2026 except for Tage Thompson, who has yet to set anyone's heart afire. In particular, there's a better chance that Kuemper is retired by the time that the player chosen with the 2023 second hits an NHL roster than Thompson becomes a top-6 forward.
