Absolutely not! There's ZERO CHANCE Guerin signs DeAngelo.

Everything else is whatever. If a bit low on contracts. But Guerin needs to stay as far away from ADA as possible.

"One potential defensive target creates some interesting internal debate with one member of the group questioning whether he'd be a good fit and several others taking an opposing view. Guerin decisively stops the conversation from heading into testier waters. "'I wasn't the greatest guy coming out of the Islanders,' Guerin said. He looks at Shero who is directly to his right to see if he's listening,' A couple of years later it was Shero who hired Guerin, starting him on an executive path." -Scott Burnside

This article was posted today on The Athletic. I think it's pointing directly at DeAngelo.

The fiala and Krill prices are way to low. Krill will be between 8-10 mil and Fiala will be between 6-7.5. Also Ian Cole i think is going to sign elsewhere. But sounds like hometown Alex G is going to sign here.

I didn't read that the same way. I read it as he didn't feel he was playing very well and Shero took a chance on him. I'd think he more meant a guy like Keith Yandle coming off of a buyout or something.

Guerin has stressed looking for players of character and developing the team's culture. Believe whatever you want about DeAngelo, but nothing that was reported makes him sound like a guy Guerin would chase after.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cole is back. I think he just wants to see what's out there first and if the money or fit aren't there, he'll circle back. Can't blame him for exploring his options and can't blame Guerin for not wanting to offer too much money or term for a guy who would play on the bottom pair.

Fiala definitely low, Cole is debatable, I think that he wants to test the waters to see how much his value is but the sound of it is that he would take a slight haircut to stay, Im pretty sure goligoski is basically signed in MN
