Bobrovsky at 5 years for 8.8 Million is not something Ken Holland should be after. But given some of his recent moves I would not put it past him.

The Panthers accept. This trade costs them over 3M+ more for the next year, but after that, they save 3M and eventually 8,8M a season. That 3M would be extremely handy when signing Barkov and Verhaeghe and after that, it'd be just complete bliss not worrying about Bob's deal.

I almost feel like you could swap that 1st rounder out for another 2nd and forget about the 7th, as Vatrano isn't as good as Garland.

Or swap out Turris for Kassian

No, he has so much worse deal than Turris, at that point this deal wouldn't make sense. At that point, the Panthers would lose cap until 2023, when Neal's deal is done. That doesn't make it easier to sign Barkov
