I would do Nolan Foote, Kevin Bahl, and a Top 15 protected 1st in 2022. Return isn't bad tho.

That's way too much for Tarasenko

I quite like this roster but would favor Walman over Mikkola for the top 6 defensemen. Trade with Devils is good, maybe instead of the 4th round pick include a 3rd round pick since Foote needs more time for development.

I think the Blues would be lucky to get Foote in a 1-for-1. Some people are expecting too much for Vladdy IMO. It's nearly August and he still hasn't been moved. If they want to have money for free agents they're gonna have to cut bait in the next few days and settle for a pretty low return. Now if STL is going to retain or take back bad money, maybe they get a nicer return. But for a team to take him at 7.5m I think the cost is going to be a prospect who is getting lost in the mix (say a Jesper Boqvist or Keiffer Bellows or Bode Wilde) and a 2nd round pick, maybe another conditional pick based on VT's stats next season.

That second rounder has a chance at being pretty good next year and foote is a good prospect so for value proposes new jersey might have to take out the 4th and give new jersey a pick landeskog wants around 9 mil so you might have to add some money to that contract other than that everything seems good

I'd prefer the Devils work in conditions on the picks - it could start with 2022 and 2023 4ths and escalate to 2022 and 2023 2nds based on number of games played (i.e 40 and 60 games or percentage as an example).

agreed we wont get a big return for tank we probably will have to wait till next year to even make an attempt at moving him

This sounds right to me
Honestly have no idea what Tarasenko gets in trade market.
Would not be shocked if Nate Schmidt like return (mid-pick)

I doubt Devils would trade Foote here

The Blues would take that in a heartbeat, but it won;t be offered.

True, plus the price might be lower due to the delay and if he insists on being traded they will rush to get him out.
