Schwartz going to Seattle is probably my second most confident prediction after Paquette to Montreal, they were super interested in him and can obviously outbid anyone.

Yeah fair enough, this is just a what if scenario to see what the team would look like if Colorado signed him. I was reading that Colorado has interest in him is all. In the same hot take they also mentioned he's interested in Seattle as well, but wants to wait and see who else they plan to sign first.

It's his last chance to really cash in so, yeah, Seattle's the place for him to do that and have a prominent role. But if he still wants to win, he might consider Colorado if they call.

He got his ring two years ago and is 29, this is likely his last big contract. There’s plenty of time for him to cup chase later in his career if he so desires.

Well, if the Avs don't have to pay Landy, they can afford to pay Schwartz a decent deal. He does miss time frequently and isn't super productive so $5-6M is pretty good but he may get more because, overpay in UFA. That being said, I can't see Joe going against his nature and diving into UFA. More likely he'll go to the trade market and see what he can find.

That seems like a lot to give up for Kessel. I understand that there are rumors, but I hope Avs don't give up that much for him.
