Vancouver actually has a decent chance to make the playoffs after the moves they made. They're not going to have much competition in the Pacific, so it will essentially be a coin flip between them and LA for the 3rd spot.

Bold of you to assume Toronto isn't making the playoffs so all those contenders will be trading with them

On paper their roster looks good. Garland and Hoglander round out the top six nicely. But their goaltending is a question mark and their defense is shaky. OEL and Hughes are liabilities defensively. I'd say the Canucks have a 50/50 chance of making it.

Canucks make the playoffs for sure. Who else in the pacific actually had a chance? Vegas and Edmonton sure but the rest is not much of a competition. Canucks have really upgraded their top 9 with Dickinson and Garland. All we need now is to improve our right defense and we should be very good…

Calgary will be the Canucks' toughest competition for that third spot. But it depends on the goaltending.

Calgary is a dumpster fire. They lost Giordano and it doesn’t seem like their stars want to stay. They will obviously be completion but I feel that the team we have built so far this offseason has made us better as well. We finally have very good forward depth which is something we have lacked for a long time. I also think that Demko will outplay Markstrom as he has already shown signs of decline.

i really dont see how goaltending is a question mark lmao Demko was one of the best goalies in the league last year before the Canucks got Covid analytically he was right up with Vasilevskiy and Flurey, Defense needs some work sure but the offeseason just started lmao, as for the trade tho its not good for Van and they say no quite easily riley is rental he is pretty much a LHD version of schimdt, no reason to trade miller here either

Comparing Demko with those goalies? lol. Canucks will be a dynasty the way you're selling him.

And I included those two players in the trade because their names have been in the rumour mill.

Easy no from VAN. They are not moving Miller.
