I'm pretty sure Detroit turns this down. Gardiner is a cap dump and Foegele and Nybeck are both wingers. Even without Bertuzzi Detroit still has a surplus of wingers. Detroit needs centers and LHDs so a good young [layer or top prospect at one of those positions. Detroit doesn't need to trade Bertuzzi and Yzerman did say he wants to sign Bertuzzi long term.

I would take foegele back in a trade so they have someone to play in the middle six now.
But I agree with the value of this, Gardiner's cap dump is basically foegeles value in a trade. So a first that will probably be late and who? Never heard of this guy, don't think he has much value from looking at his stats.
Let's be real, Drury, Jarvis it bokk have to be part of the deal for it to be even interesting for Detroit.

Probably need to add more to wings and Yotes trades. I wouldn’t give up Sellgren. Would rather play him now than trade him for Miller.

I'd be happy to take Gardiner and Foegele for future considerations but Nybeck + a 1st won't get you Bertuzzi. If you add Drury I'd think about it.
