Where do they Go from here top 6 fwd?

I mean with stastny resigning I don’t see them grabbing a winger. They’ll fill out bottom 6. Play stastny in top 6 or Copp. But I’d love to see them bring in someone like Tomas Tatar at like 3.75 million for 1 year to play 2LW.

Conner-Scheif-Wheeler…. Of course
Perfetti/Stastny-Dubois-Ehlers. Depends on Perfetti’s development

And Lucius taking Wheelers spot in a few years

How’s that?

2 seconds r fair.. we can easily afford to give that, the picks don’t help us anyway

We have a good forward and defence prospect pool and r in win now mode

Big physical shutdown top 4 defensemen with 3 years on a decent deal… why not

Personally I think it’s a really good trade for the Jets

Yup should be alot a solid 7m shutdown pairing

In a league strapped for cap space two 2nds is a bit much imo.

Average team spends around 19-22 million on the blue line. Jets are right there.

TATAR!!!!!!

Seriously though he'd be ****ing awesome and a legit top 6 option, really think they need another top 6 forward, two 35 year olds in #25 and 26, who knows with PLD and Copp, does PLD rebound or Copp repeats his performance from last season?? I'd grab some insurance if it's out there.

Ok time to sacrifice and kneel to yzerman and try to get out of there with your shirt still on, but time to add bertuzzi, send copp home and try to come back with your meal money on a rhd and bertuzzi

That’s what it took to beat all the other bidders
Worth it IMO

GM's are paying some crazy prices for dmen this offseason, Dillon should help this backend no doubt.

I’m scared Chevy awake and initiating this early in the process, sign of the apocalypse

I wonder if his time in Chicago warming up his seat, or possibly Wheeler/scheifele, don’t believe it’s coming from above, they seem all right with bubbling

He waited too long to trade Trouba.

That's not what got Gorton fired and it's irrelevant anyway.

What’s next? Something is old is new again is my prediction, getting tanev and Appleton out of seattle, and possibly one of the fleury brothers for depth.

No doubt these two dmen will help but Schmidt has a big personality along with a big cap hit, gotta wonder how he'll fit in with old man Wheeler.

Also both Dillon and Schmidt carry some risk as they have term and are 30, I know I **** about Chevy not doing enough but idk about these moves.. Lol

Guess this means another year in the A for Samsung and Heinola, when do you think Heinola makes his trade request?

With Little on LTIR, Copp signed for 4, Pionk a little over 5, Stanley bridged for a bit more then $1M, Berdin at back up and a couple league minimum forwards signed and Beaulieu as the 7th dman they just fit under the cap so idk how this fits, hope it means Copp is being traded as I'm tired of watching him.. Lol

I know never to be excited in July, but I’m excited, I think this is legit contender status, possibly the best blueline we have ever had, Schmidt brings back our buffy swagger, pionk is 10 times the blueliner that Trouba is, possibly not that high, but don’t get in the way of my july excitement lol. Jets would never do it buts time for a copp/heinola deal to go get somebody legit top 6 winger, pace stastney and have a legit forward group to go with blueline. Probably could use tanev, Appleton, and one of the fleurys for depth if they hit payroll wise. Finally a swing, it’s a Winnipeg swing, but ill take it.
