Vegas isn’t giving a 3rd with Fluery to only get a 7th. His cap hit may be 7million, but the reigning Vezina winner won’t be just tossed aside.

I wouldnt trade olofsson. I would rather get 2 journeymen goalies than commit that much to ullmark. We saw last year what happens when ullmark gets hurt with no competent backup, and adams has to own that, he needed a real backup and didnt get one. The way i see it, there are many goalies capable of being average, last year we found several bad ones, no need to overcorrect, but we do need two. I suspect we probably only get one of those firsts from minnesota, would be lovely if it was just top 3 or top 5 protected, these protected firsts are getting ridiculous.
