Honestly I’m pretty sure Schmidt goes for a lot more than that. If that is the best offer the Canucks get, I’m sure they’d simply rather keep him

You got him from Vegas for a 3rd. He had a bad season. His value has not improved.

Honestly at this point of Benning's desperation, I would surprised if he can move him without taking back salary or needing to retain.
