I don’t know if I like that trade for Buffalo. To me , it’s:
Greenway
Rossi
Another player/prospect
1-2 1st rounders

The Rangers offered a much better trade package than one your willing to accept from Min. Ridiculously better! Supposedly the package was laughed at. Why would Buffalo accept a much lower trade package from another team than the Rangers are offering?

Are you kidding me? A 1st and 3rd round pick from 2019... They haven’t even had the chance to prove if they’re legit prospects or not, let alone have any chance of making it to the NHL. Rask is nothing more than a salary dump. This package comes nowhere close to what the Rangers offered Buffalo!

A bunch of issues here on the Minnesota side
1. I don't think they move Rossi at all
2. There's not enough money moving out in this trade
3. Almost certainly Kevin Fiala is in any Eichel trade

Buffalo would have no interest in Fiala. If he asks for a trade from Buffalo, his value will dip a lot.

I dont see who Minny would want to move. Zucc maybe but I think they want to keep him

Edmonton rejects. They aren't paying all those picks to move just 1 year of Koskinen's contract and Olofsson has zero value to them.

Lol, olofsson is an elite finisher, cost controlled for 4 more seasons. He has plenty of value, especially to Edmonton.

Apparently you have missed what teams are paying to get rid of salary and Edmonton is linked to kuemper

He only scores on the PP, at 5v5 he's one of the poorest scorers in the league. Edmonton has the best PP in the league and Olofsson wouldn't crack it. Lets look at the 5v5 numbers for his entire career so you can see just how useless he is to Edmonton:

0.37 G/60 (366th in the league among 388 forwards to play at least 1000 minutes)
1.34 P/60 (290th in the league)
54.55 IPP (365th in the league)

Even compared to Sabres players with 1000+ minutes over the past 3 years, Olofsson ranks 10th of 12 (tied with Larsson) for scoring. Elite finisher? You're a comedian! laugh laugh laugh

That's why I said a bunch of issues with any Minnesota trade. Just can't see it working here

My bad, never mind. Hope Buffalo would reduce their crazy current asking price and accept a deal for as little as your proposing. Rangers could easily beat this trade package without trading any of their top prospects including Robertson, Schneider, and Lundkvest.
