Be interesting if Minnesota went for that.

I had similar talks with Wild fans around Boldy, not knowing he was expected to be moved to the wing.

Now knowing that Rossi is actually expected to stay at C, he would be the preferred target. But might be too much for Minny to want to give up.

This is finally a close trade package for Jack, but honestly, if you're getting Rossi, it's to put in the Jack trade. IMO if Byfield and Zegras are off the table, Rossi is my #1 target.

I suggest keeping Mika and Chytil who’s still only 21 and going after Dvorak. Or keep Chytil, trade picks and defenseman for Dvorak and trade Mika for a young center prospect (Rossi is too much imo).

Wild aren't going to be interested in mika for Rossi, like no chance. Only way Rossi gets moved is for Eichel

Wild are interested in Zibanejad. I would be ready to give up Boldy+ for him, but Rossi is too much.

Im curious, why do you think this is close? Its kakko and a 23 first, plus whatever we can flip strome for. We dont need left handed d, like at all, and georgiev is fine as a throw in, but he doesnt have much value. Those pieces dont have tremendous value, especially to us. The rumor was that adams wanted chytil, kravtsov, schneider/lundkvist, and a first- which at the very least makes way more sense from our point of view.

I would think that if you swapped Rossi for Boldy the wild would take it and run. Mika will be about 2M less a year than Eichel, put him back on a line with zuccarello and you get to keep the additional 3 assets that Buffalo wants in a deal

I would say you're not getting either Boldy or Rossi for a center with one year left on his deal. Even if he's willing to sign here, he's going to be 29 when his contract kicks in, and he's going to be expensive, and he's not going to be worth a blue chip prospect+
