Montreal easily rejects that trade, Kk is worth more and we need him, especially if Danault is gone, we don’t need more wingers

None of this helps pitt or vegas. The only thing it does is allow Detroit to Rob them blind.

Yet Detroit doesn't get anything of value, a fourth liner and an overpaid 3rd pairing dman. A third to retain that much salary isn't that appealing either. Oh and somehow we lose Namestnikov as well, he's probably the best skater in this whole scenario of Vegas Detroit and Pittsburgh.

It's a huge over pay for KK. But to Montreal KK is more valuable as they need centres so it doesn't really work. The Vegas and Pittsburgh scenario is just awful.
Detroit gets a fourth liner, an over paid 3rd pairing dman with too much term and only a third to retain 3.5M? Like the third for the salary might be close but the other two players aren't worth much. Then we lose Namestnikov who's value isn't astronomical or anything but he's more useful.
Then paying 2M for Kase and Donato, Donato maybe and hope he bounces back. At least they are only one year deals.

No you get a top 4 d on a solid contract, a 3rd, one of the best defensive forwards in the league and all you give up that really has any sort of value is a bottom 6 player.
Red wings fans are the worst at over valuing their players and undervaluing others. And that’s pretty sad considering Leafs and Oilers fans exist.
