Would be nice. Definitely a reasonable package for him. I just doubt the NYI have any interest in dealing him. Unless he's made it clear he doesn't want to re-sign after next year

Even so hes not moving simply bc we need him too much. We're trying to win now and even if he says hes not resigning hes not going anywhere. Its not a terrible package especially for a rental but the chance at the cup this year is worth holding onto him.
Also if a deal were to be made, the value here is ok but the wrong pieces. It starts with perfetti and copp is sorta useless to us. We have pageau already and copp is gonna be too expensive for a 3rd line winger but doesnt have the skill set to play top 6. Hes only worth it as a 3C.
Also a heads up, you dont want helm i promise lol.

Exactly which is why i know it wont happen Just would love that core of D for the Jets if it was remotely available. As for Copp, he's better than most people think. He's just pricing himself out a spot here in Winnipeg long term. As a piece you could even flip him and get a decent return. He's a 2nd line calibre player just tough in the Jets and Isles lineup imo.

You got a middle 6 forward coming off a career year, the Jets best D prospect who is probably a top 10 D prospect in the game along with a 1st round pick in whats being dubbed a very deep draft for a year of a guy who could walk at the end of the season for nothing *potentially* It's a very competitive offer. Don't think Lou accepts but not a laughable one.

I think the disconnect here is what is pulocks value as a rental versus what would it take to get lou to move him. Its in no way a great offer, but its not the worst. It will for sure take more starting with perfetti but imo its around the equivelant of 3 1sts. For a rental coming off a bad year (he only had 2 goals in the regular season) thats not bad. Now it will take ehlers, connor, and perfetti if you want lou to move him but thats something else. As for heinola, not a top 10 d prispect imo. Hes a solid piece but i want something better for the main piece hence perfetti.

I dont see him maintaining the level of play that he showed this year. And even so his skill set isnt made for top 6. If he could be flipped you do it and give something else. But either way it doesnt make a difference bc pulocks not going anywhere.
