maybe...Some teams dont like it when their player is traded....I just dont really know what the return would be for someone like Hronek

The only reason why DET would make a move like this (giving up on a young, right-handed Dman that led the team in ice time and points) is due to an overpay of talent. Any offer that WPG would make to DET would start with Perfetti and Heinola. Copp has no value to DET (at 27 he would be at the older end of the team), and while Heinola would, you are trading a young, known asset for a prospect, you'd need more than that. The 3rd round pick has less than a 6% chance of making the NHL, so no value there either.

Also, with Heinola playing so well, why would WPG give up on him? He's probably made the NHL for 2021-2022, and might score at about the same rate.

I’m sorry but for Heinola AND Perfetti we better be getting like freaking Cale makar in return lol, I wouldn’t even move Perfetti for hronek

all to do with the LD stock of Dmen compared to RD. We have our top 2 guys set and then we have three young guns for the last spot. So we trade him for a young RD

Long-term, I’d rather have Heinola over Hronek.
But for one-year, to fill a hole, I can understand the overpay.

And if Perfetti is on the table, I would think NJD would send Severson at 50%.

I like how you think Heinola and Perfetti are going to bring you back Makar. To get back Makar, it would end up being Perfetti, Heinola, Dubois, Gustafasson, Lundmark, and a couple of 1st round picks, and that might even be undervalued. Makar is the McDavid of Dmen.

Well yeah of course their would be a little more, but Heinola will be just as good as Hronek or better, Perfetti is a future 1st line center.

Honestly, I’d target Perfetti over Heinola.

Our LD pipeline
Edvinsson, Johansson, McIsaac, Wallinder, Viro, Buium

Why do you think Heinola will be at minimum a .5 PPG defender?
