How much would you pay for Logan Stanley

Created by: arafay

Description
With the Dillon trade, there’s not really a long or short term need for Stanley anymore. Heinola is ready for 3ld and Dillon and JoMo and top 2. Therefore, what would your offer be for him! Just trying to gauge value before a possible trade.

Samberg is probably the expendable one.

As much as Zajac makes sense as a Winnipegger, I think we need to sign/acquire at least one true right winger, we have plenty of centers and left wingers.

I'm in favor of trading Stanley too, I wouldn't mind seeing if it were possible to move Stanley for a decent low-cost RW, or even a vet RHD to play on the third pairing with Heinola.

I don’t see Maurice doing that. If anything, heinola plays with Morrissey and demelo with Stanley. Something like:
Heinola-Morrissey
Dillon-pionk
Stanley-demelo

Since we have seen this before. Maurice has said before that he will not play 2 young guys together on the same pairing. Don’t see heinola moving fo the right side either since the jets probably want him to adjust to the nhl level first.

I agree, I like sutter as a target personally. Just wanted to change it up since that’s what I’ve been doing.

I think that if Chevy can pull off a trade for a big rd prospect for Stanley that’s best. Maybe a move for Schneider if the rangers overpay. Otherwise, I’m comfortable getting a 2nd for Stanley in a deep draft. Maybe chevy goes for another top 4 rd with Stanley as a part of the package…instead of signing another one like savard. Either way, there’s plenty of options for him.

A 6th. You can find 3rd pair D like Stanley on the market easily. WPG should try to trade him; they have Morrissey, Schmidt, Dillon on the left with Samberg and Heinola. GMs love to overrate big dmen+he's young so they could get a decent return.

Lol, teams will pay much more than that for a 22 year old, 6”7 defensemen with offensive potential. The kid is all but a lock to become a top 4 guy in the future

I think they could find some team overpaying but realistically, they get a 2nd for him

I wouldn't bet on that. We'll see.

Yeah, I think if this offseason is anything worth looking into what gm’s value, gms are willing to pay heavy prices for big players.
