That Tampa Bay trade is hella-bad for Buffalo. And the Hawks are definitely not doing that.

Just seeing CHI saving over 4 million is what I thought.

Why would CHI pay you take one of our most consistent dmen and competent backup goalie?

Don't think adding MAF makes either Delia or Subban expendable?

Washington would be extremely happy if that's all they had to give up for Eichel. Then Kuznetsov to Rangers, the rangers don't want/need Kuznetsov. The fact that they would be giving up a 1st! and Georgiev, doesn't make sense to me. Yes, I do think Georgiev could be gone, but not in a deal like that. Chicago thinks they are trending in the right direction, so giving up Murphy, Delia, AND a 2nd rounder doesn't make sense. It's not like Murhpy has any negative value. He's one of the few RD defensive defenceman. Tampa does not want mroe contracts like Colin Miller, even if he is retained that much. I don't see a good reason for Mike Rielly to go to Buffalo.

Delia or Subban sure but that doesnt make Murphy or our second expendable.

I think the Russian connection with Panarin and their desire for a Top Center is my connection with Kuz. But fair enough, you said it was so bad you couldn't express it yet you did, and it still doesn't seem to far fetched for me. If BUF ends up with 3 first round talents and an RFA goalie to bridge until UPL is ready, that's cool. My CHI strictly relies on their desire to shed cap, even if it is a good player. TBL is losing Savard and Miller at half-retained is still cheaper when getting TJ off their roster; and FA are crap-shoots so cool flex.

Would love that trade for the caps and I cannot think of many better places for EIchel. Getting to play with Ovi and Willy while not being forced into being a leader. I bet he would grow a lot in that locker room. I do not see it happening sadly

I actually think this would be really good for Buffalo. Caps would need you take a couple more players to move cap space Hagelin and Kempny.
