Did Schmidt waive? Dregor reports deal is done but pending waiving his NTC

As much as the two trades were overpayments, it’s a huge improvement over what they iced last year. So I’m happy as a Jets fan. Chevy actually did something for once and it’ll seriously help the team. I’m just curious to see how things shake out long term. I honestly think Chevy had things planned at last years TDL but expansion and other things got in the way.

I agree, it’s a nice change. This does effect the long term plan for sure and I think a couple moves will be made this off-season yet.
