That’s what happens when you actually improve your roster, you lose the cap space you had. Glad Chevy did something

Agreed.. bout time

What hypes me up the most tho is how hard he tried to get him here.. tried last year to get him along with Stastny, he said no and even after his bad season in VAN made repeated attempts to get him to waive and I think Stastny convinced him

Obviously Chevy sees something he really likes

Chevy usually is right when he sees something he likes. Look at pionk.

Obviously there’s something he really really likes if he’s made many many attempts even after he’s declined to waive before. I wonder how they’ll run the pairings. Maybe this?:

Morrissey-Schmidt
Dillon-Pionk
Stanley-DeMelo

Pionk for sure and Stastny as well

Heard Chevy tried to get Stastny even before he signed a deal in St Louis and told the gm then if u ever want to trade him call me

Think your lines r right on, the only question I have is Stanley’s spot.. Heinola is too good for the AHL

Maybe they swap in and out? Or maybe Chevy puts together a package for a impact right winger? With the moves lately wouldn’t be surprised

A move is likely coming for a forward. Heinola can be a prime trade piece.

Would have to be for an ELC winger, because your 5 Dman with 1+ in cap hits are going nowhere

Oh I know, but you can return a real nice piece with a guy like Heinola. Man this is off the board but Denisenko/Tippett from would be a real interesting option.

I knew it was you! I saw this thread before and thought maybe it was you. I also commented and said I was probably one of the only Jets fan that would consider a 1 for 1 swap. Which one do you think is better for both teams?

a move for sure but imo Stanley's more expendable then Heinola

Maybe they need the impact forward that Heinola would return.
