this team would definitely need to add a fairly capable LD and LW but man that was a pretty quick turnaround from that "were rebuilding" letter either way lol

There is a lot of cap coming off the books next year too. SURE, RFAs need raises, but DeHaan's $4.5M? No need for Shaw's $3.9M to be compliant Day one either...so $8.4M with those two.

I'd Say that the LW are pretty good but definitely the LD

That's why I wanted to create $10 million of cap space on this active roster. Jones' AAV goes up, DeBrincat, Dach and maybe Kubalik will need new deals.

Of course...this is all depending on Flower wanting to play next season for Chicago and McCabe being okay with $2 million AAV.
