I think its speculation as of right now and theres a chance he changes his mind because Chicago might be a fun place for his family to live for a year before retirement, but ultimately I think youre right and we send him back to PGH.

I don't think Suter is signing here, I also don't think Fleury actually plays. Yandle is signing in Philly, and there's very limited space for next season. How they work next offseason, will be a mystery until we get there. It really doesn't seem like Stan has an actual plan.

Its a hope and prayer on suter and MAF but with them and one more LD we could be a good team

I'd argue they need 2 LD. Tampa Bay won back to back cups because they brought the majority of the same players back. They didn't have many tweener players they hoped would make the jump like the hawks do.

That would be ideal. I could see strome being moved on for a dman as well and borgstrom or johnson slotting into the pivot

Looks like Borgstrom, but who knows at this point. Most uncoordinated offseason I've ever witnessed.
JackBurton and MisstheWhalers liked this.

Has Stan ever had a plan? He's been making strange moves for quite awhile now.

Speaking of TBL, getting Marc Savard tomorrow would be grand...
