Ullmark will never sign for that. He wants 5-6 million per season. We don’t need any more left defense. Would need a center prospect plus

Its contradictory to move him for Eichel, you acquire Eichel to play with Tkachuk, not become Buffalo of the west

It looks that way, but Tkachuk is gone in 2 seasons and will just take his $9.0M qualifying offer next year and walk on us the season after. At least Buffalo can trade him before that all happens, and get a real nice return. Or they could work on an early deal next spring.

I prefer this move to my Eichel #1 for both teams.

Nope - Acquire Eichel to play with Gaudreau (and Lindholm).

Why would Tkachuk be gone in 2 seasons? Just your personal opinion? I mean he probably would in Buffalo but there is no reason he wouldnt want to extend in Calgary
