The reported price is likely a bit off. I don't see why Buffalo is looking for another LD and the lack of Tuch is most disturbing.

You would think but it lines up with Rangers refusing to trade either of Lundkvist or Schneider

But we've heard for weeks that the ask is astronomical and that the Sabres haven't went down on their asking price from multiple people. Doesn't really match up with that.

I think Friedman said that the Sabres asked for one of the two & asked for their top young guys already on the roster. That would more fit with the high asking price.

Thats not what we heard at all, we heard its the equivalent of 4 1sts with 2 NHL ready players amoung them

Just because you dont consider the above package expensive doesnt mean GM's dont. Your quote still falls right in line with the asking price too

That's what I said? That people have been saying the price is still extremely high. It doesn't fit with the reported Vegas rumor.
